Restaurant of the month: La Fontaine Gaillon
La Fontaine Gaillon, with its emblematic terrace facing one of the most beautiful fountains in Paris, is reborn under the direction of Guillaume Bénard and his Fitz Group. Dating back to 1672 and immortalized by Zola, this historic venue offers traditional, refined bourgeois cuisine. Offering Parisian classics such as sole meunière and veal liver, the restaurant combines respect for tradition with creativity. La Fontaine Gaillon is now open from breakfast to dinner, with a musical atmosphere and a cocktail bar. Renovated by architect Lazaro Rosa Violon, the setting combines heritage and modernity, with Art Deco touches and works of art. La Fontaine Gaillon remains a friendly place, open all summer long, celebrating the values of sport and conviviality.
15 rue Gaillon 75002 Paris.
Show of the month: Paris je t'aime
The show is an ode to the Parisian revue, where wonder, laughter and derision go hand in hand. The artists, true alchemists of the stage, weave a link between yesterday and today, bringing to life tableaux that have marked the city's cultural history. At the heart of the show is a particularly poignant tribute to Edith Piaf, la Môme de Paris. Her songs, emblems of the Parisian streets, are revisited with modernity, notably "La Vie en Rose", which is adorned with the sensual rhythms of tango.
