Restaurant of the month: Matka
Polish chef Piotr Korzen's first restaurant opens in May with the aim of reinventing Polish cuisine in Paris. After a prestigious career in renowned establishments in France, Piotr combines the rusticity and authenticity of Polish cuisine with refined gastronomic savoir-faire. The restaurant will offer a unique culinary experience, where Polish classics will be revisited from a gastronomic perspective. In a warm, intimate setting inspired by mid-20th-century Eastern European bistros, Matka promises to delight taste buds with dishes such as glazed chlodnik, buckwheat blinis with kohlrabi and smoked trout, and roladka with carrot, grapes and almond.
