Offenbach's opéra-bouffe is full of captivating ingredients - from brigands looking for a new score to a Spanish delegation, a large hoard and an unscrupulous cashier - not forgetting the ever-late Carabinieri. Created in 1869 at the Théâtre des Variétés, this opera offers a story full of twists and turns and disguises.

Exhibition of the month: The Mexica civilization

The Templo Mayor, located in the heart of the capital, Tenochtitlan, was the spiritual and political center, dedicated to the gods Tlacoc and Huitzilopochtli.
